Simple Eye Care Tips

 

Protect your eyes with homologated sunglasses .Do not get too close to reading or writing, or tilting or turning your head or back. When doing tasks close up you must take care of the lighting of the surroundings.

Do not read or study when you are too tired or about to fall asleep. Do not read or study as soon as you wake up in the morning, wait at least an hour for the eye to adapt.

Do not watch TV at a distance of less than 2 meters and make sure you maintain good posture. You must have the room lit, never in the dark. When you go by car avoid reading or other activities from close up, it is preferable to look from afar.

Place the monitor and keyboard aligned right in front of you. Place the screen about 50 cm apart and slightly below eye level. Reduce the brightness to a minimum and position the screen so that there are no reflections.

Adjust the font size of the screen to one that you find easy to read. Wipe dust off your computer screen to increase sharpness. Keep your back and neck straight, your feet flat on the floor and your elbows bent at a 90 degree angle.

Try to rest for 2 to 3 minutes every 15 to 20 minutes. Use to stretch your arms, legs and back. If you wear glasses with anti-reflective treatment, you will reduce glare and increase visual comfort.
